Scope and Contents This collection consists of correspondence (1862-1864) received by Emma Miller of Chikaming, Berrien County, Michigan during the Civil War. Most of the letters were written by her fiance, Captain Mark D. Flower, who was attached to Headquarters, District of Memphis, Army of the Tennessee.
