Scope and Contents

The papers include some correspondence, course materials, bibliographies, honors and newspaper clippings on Wallace. The bulk of the materials are copies and reprints of articles that were written by Wallace. The materials deal primarily with the field of ornithology including a statement given to the House Subcommittee on Fisheries and Wildlife on the effects of DDT in 1960. Also included are issues of the Michigan Pesticide Council Newsletter.

Scope and Content

The John Melton Hunter papers contain extensive materials in the field of medical geography and health, demography, geography and cartography. It includes original text and map manuscripts and original field notebooks, correspondence, and some photographs of John Hunter. The focus of the collection is strongest on West Africa, in particular Ghana, but also ranges across other regions of Africa, and includes documents on British and Latin American geography.

Scope and Contents The records consist of research data covering a variety of conservation and environment-related subjects, information concerning various Michigan conservation/environmentalist groups, and the administrative records of the MPC itself.
