Scope and Contents The papers consist of two court docket books and a handwritten manuscript. The first docket book (1825-1841) records the cases of Robert Hoy Sr. in Stark County, Ohio. The bulk of these are dated 1825-1828. The cases list plaintiffs and defendants, Hoy's decisions, and the court costs. John and Robert Jr. also used the book to keep farm accounts from 1828 to 1841.
