This collection consists of three letters addressed to members of the Buzzard Family of Detroit, Michigan. The first letter (1844) discusses the sale of mills and mentions one mill that was destroyed by fire. A letter written in 1849 by three members of the Buzzard family reports their arrival in Chicago to pick up a load of wheat to be carried to St. Clair, milled, and then delivered to Buffalo.
