Scope and Contents

The Marion Rutter Magnus collection contains 4-H material. Included are Camp Gaylord event programs and song books, other 4-H song books, State 4-H show programs, 4-H patch, blank forms and handouts for leaders and leader appreciation event programs. Also included is a Michigan State College Songs booklet as well as a postcard set.

Scope and Contents This collection contains a one volume book written by Sister Alice O'Rourke, O.P. in 1984. The volume describes one hundred years of the history of the parish in Gaylord, Michigan from 1878-1984. The book opens with the introduction of the Catholic Church to Native Americans in 1671 and continues to elaborate on the growth of the parish.
