The Alberto Flores collection on the Michigan Hispanic Senior Citizens Coalition (MHSCC) contains correspondence, meeting notes and agendas, photos, news clips, and fliers from Flores’ work with the Michigan Hispanic Senior Citizens Coalition (MHSCC). Series I has been inventoried as of 2016. Series II is part of a growing collection and was added in 2017.

Alfred L. Williams family papers

Scope and Contents This collection contains letters from members of the Alfred L. Williams family of Owosso, Michigan.Most of the letters were written to Alfred L. Williams' daughter, Clara, by her sisters. The letters discuss pioneer life, the problems of being a single girl, hired help and treating illness with various home remedies. Alfred P. Cannon collection

Scope and Contents

The Alfred P. Cannon collection contains two photos taken by Cannon of the Beal Pinetum and the Michigan State University forestry cabin. Cannon was a forestry student at the Ohio State University and took the photos during a visit to Michigan State.

Allan S. Thompson photographs

Scope and Contents The Thompson collection consists of 1,866 glass plate negatives and three lantern slides. There are also 573 contact prints in the collection of which 494 are from the plates. Some of the prints are 8x10 inches and others are 3 ½ inch squares. The prints of the 3 ½ inch images are noted in the finding aid with the notation “(print available) 3 ½.” A list of the 8x10 inch prints can be found at the end of the finding aid. Scope and Contents The Kedzie Chapter of Alpha Zeta collection consists mainly of annual group portraits taken of the members from 1902, 1905, 1908, 1910, 1912, 1921, three undated group portraits, and an undated portrait of William James Beal. Alton Wheaton papers

The Alton Wheaton papers contain primarily financial records and other forms of inventory that Wheaton took while working on his farm. There is also a small section on some of Wheaton’s community activities, some photographs of said activities, and two books on the Wheaton family genealogy. There are also a number of folders containing deeds and titles to various pieces of land Wheaton owned. There are also catalogs, plans, newsletters and brochures on farm topics.
