The Glenford S. Leonard papers contain primarily information on Leonard’s post-Michigan State University career. One topic, which became a specialty of Leonard’s, and which is covered extensively in the collection is the integration of police and fire services. Leonard helped implement the integration in several towns in Michigan and often checked the progress of integration in other communities.

The records contain seminar brochures, research reports, curriculum materials, and The Contact newsletter from the Alpha Phi Sigma student organization. There are also a number of materials from the German Police Leader and Specialist program. Also include is an article and brochures about the school’s 50th anniversary celebration (Golden Jubilee) in 1985.

Scope and Contents The William A. Wiltberger papers reflect a large section of Wiltberger’s life, from the 1920s to the 1970s. They include material from his work as an educator, a police officer, an Air Force Colonel, and his membership in the International Association for Identification, the International Association of Police Chiefs, and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
