Spanish-American War scrapbook

Spartan Wives Club records

Scope and Contents

This collection contains meeting agendas, member directories, financial records, newsletters summaries of club activities. There is also a Handbook for Student Leaders as well as guides for student organizations. Also included is a transcript of a panel discussion of Spartan Wives members in an education department class on April 14, 1947. There are also scrapbooks which contain photographs, newspaper clippings about the organization, event programs and other memorabilia.

Stebbins family papers

Scope and Contents A manuscript copy of Stebbins' book A History of Plymouth Church (of Lansing) written in 1893 is included. Stebbins compiled an autobiography entitled Sketches of My Life, which he was completing at his death in 1901. Swimming records

These records contain swimming championships programs for 1941, 1959, 1960, 1962, a handout of land exercises for competitive swimming from 1956, and a memo about judging by lanes from 1956. Also included are 22 volumes of scrapbooks which contain newspaper articles about the Michigan State University swim team, local high school and recreational teams, as well as some articles about swimming on the national level.

Viola Jensen Torgerson scrapbook
