Scope and Content The records of Gordon Guyer were created or collected primarily in his capacity as acting President of Michigan State University. Guyer was acting president for one year from 1992 to 1993 during which a formal search for a new president was conducted and the appointment was completed. The collection contains a brochure describing Simon's strategic positioning initiative for the university. The electronic resources includes correspondence in the form of e-mail memos, a video of President Simon at Michigan AgExpo 2009, and two videos from the induction of President Simon into the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame in 2016.
