The materials in these papers consist mainly of correspondence, manuscripts, notes, and statements concerning Case's military career, his efforts to re-establish the CCC, the establishment of Citizens for Conservation, Inc., the 1958 Senate race, the Michigan Department of Economic Development, and the Youth Conservation Corps. Also included are poetry written by Case and a number of booklets on a variety of subjects which he collected.
The Dennis J. Pettee collection collection contains photographs from a May 1953 tornado in Sarnia, Ontario; a 1922 boat explosion in Port Huron, Michigan; and scenes from Niagara Falls in Canada. The collection also contains postcards from Hawaii, Iowa, Ohio, Wisconsin, and National Parks.
The Department of Psychiatry records consists of one folder containing a program booklet for the residency program at the Pontiac State Hospital and an unpublished annual report for 1968.
Also included are materials related to the AIDS Education and Training Center. The materials include publications about ministry and AIDS, promotional handouts, health and safe sex kits, and t-shirts (the majority of these materials was not created by Michigan State University).
