Scope and Contents

The collection consists of 11 volumes of Effective Living course syllabi and readings; original minutes of the Basic Education Planning Committee and the Curriculum Committee (March-May, 1944); a “confidential” report of an undated faculty survey relating to the establishment of the Basic College and the Effective Living courses. The collection is arranged chronologically.

The collection also includes unpublished annual reports for 1945-1953.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of correspondence from Frances Morehouse and Milton Townsend. Most of the letters are between Frances and Milton but a few of the letters are also from their relatives and friends. While professing their love for each other, Frances and Milton also talked about their day-to-day activities.
