The thesis covers the history and botany of the apple, location and planting of an orchard, propagation, pruning, cultivation, spraying, diseases, insects, picking, packing, storing, marketing, and varieties. The volume contains a bibliography of the sources Wright used and many pasted pictures and illustrations.
