Scope and Contents
The CPUSA was the most important American radical organization from its factionalized 1919 origins well into the 1950s. This collection consists of works published by and about the Communist Party and its front organizations, books, pamphlets, newspapers and mimeographed reports dating from 1913-1960. Since this collection was acquired in 1960 many items have been separated to receive item level cataloging. These are located in the American Radicalism Collection.
