Scope and Contents As of 2016, MSU’s collection includes fan fiction zines with stories featuring the cast of the original series (taking place during both the time period depicted in the 1966-69 television series and the time period depicted in the 1979-91 feature films) and the characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
