Balthazar Korab photographs
The collection contains photographs and copy negatives taken by Balthazar Korab for a study of outdoor sculpture in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing, Michigan. Korab’s photos were published in Fay Hendry’s "Outdoor Sculpture in Grand Rapids," "Outdoor Sculpture in Kalamazoo," and "Outdoor Sculpture in Lansing".
Clyde and Mary Henson collection
The Clyde and Mary Henson collection primarily contains portraits of Civil War veterans. Notable portraits include Ulysses S. Grant and George B. McClellan. The David B. Hillmer Collection contains 97 photographs primarily of Detroit buildings, street scenes, retail interiors, and retail window displays. J.L. Hudson Company comprises the bulk of the retail collection.

Robert Miles collection
The Robert Miles collection contains 27 photographs from Charlevoix, Ironton, Petoskey, and Beaver Island, Michigan. Included are photos of town scenes, fish packing, ice cutting, lumbering mills, the Beaver Island locomotive, ships, and individuals from these respective northern Michigan communities.
