This collection consists of letters, notes, reports and maps from Monroe's survey work. Also included are Monroe's notes about bills he introduced in the Michigan State Senate in the 1880s, and a diary kept during a trip to Europe, Egypt, and England in 1904.

The Floyd M. Barden papers consist of an oral history interview conducted by Frank Dennis in 1973. Barden discusses fruit farming in South Haven (1850-1900), his experiences while a student at Michigan Agricultural College (1904-1908), and his later interaction with the College, particularly his work with the Cooperative Extension Service (circa 1910-1930). The collection includes an audio cassette and transcription of the interview.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of materials about Liberty Hyde Bailey including articles about him from newspapers, magazines, and scholarly publications. Included are photocopies of original documents relating to Bailey.
