Scope and Contents

The Biochemistry Department collection includes issues of department newsletters, informational pamphlets for prospective students, a 1962 proposal to the National Science Foundation for funds to build “new facilities for graduate training and research in biochemistry,” an a program for an undergraduate degree in the field of biochemistry.

The collection also includes unpublished annual reports for 1960-1972.

Scope and Contents The records of the Chemistry Department include correspondence, department files, subject files, information on chemistry buildings, material about Alpha Chi Sigma, and material from the American Chemical Society.Correspondence includes letterpress correspondence from Robert C. Scope and Contents The records of Thomas V. Atkinson contain the four series: Academic Specialists Appointment System, Instruction, Network Communication Committee, and Other. The materials reflect Atkinson’s original arrangement, categorization and folder titles.
