Scope and Contents This collection consists of letters, legal documents, account books, bank books, school exercises and journals dealing with the Hall and Wilcox families. These two families were connected by marriage: Mrs. E. E. Hall was the daughter of Earl and Mary E. Ferdon Wilcox. Scope and Contents This collections consists of letters addressed to Jacob J. Wagner of Monongalia County, Virginia and LePorte, Indiana. Monongalia County is now part of West Virginia. Two letters (1831, 1833), written by friends in Indiana while Wagner still lived in Virginia, describe travel conditions, pioneer life, weather and the abundance of agricultural produce in Indiana.
