The MSU Blue Line Club records contains a brochure for membership application, and Blue Line Newsletter. The newsletters give information about the players and season, club activities, and other information related to hockey at MSU.

Scope and Contents

Following a brief introduction to the campus of Michigan State University, we are taken to a practice session of the MSU Spartan Hockey team. While viewing the practice, the viewer is given a history of hockey at Michigan State and introduced to the head coach, Amo Bessone. The concluding half of the film presents highlights of the 1976-77 hockey season at Munn Ice Arena.

This film was presented at the 13th Chicago Film Festival in 1977.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a cassette tape of a Michigan State University vs. Minnesota men's hockey game from February 1951. Side one of the tape contains the last two minutes of the game when a fight broke out on the ice and the police tried to break it up. The rest of the tape contains audio unrelated to the hockey game including the February 25, 1995 Max Ferguson Show, and side two contains unintelligible audio about business.

Scope and Contents The William D. Mitchell collection contains photographs taken by Mitchell during his time at Michigan State University as well as other subjects. The MSU related photographs include images of the photography club, students, Block and Bridle show, water carnival, Spartacade, Holiday on Ice, ROTC, ROTC queens, Kappa Alpha Mu exhibit table, international festival, as well as other events.
