Scope and Contents

Collection consists of photographs and souvenirs kept by Donald Sayre, a Horticulture alumnus, that were given to the Horticulture Department in the 1970s. The collection includes a student register of names, postcards of campus scenes, photographs of an engineering squad, the Phylean Society members, celebration of Michigan State University's victory over Wabash, and an Ag Council Newsletter from 1956.

Scope and Contents The Elmer "Tubby" Hock papers consist of a scrapbook, songs (1911), poems (undated), and a copy of regulations for the Women's Building (1907). His scrapbook contains programs, invitations, announcements, photographs, postcards, athletic schedules, college songs, posters, tickets, and newspaper clippings relating to student life at Michigan Agricultural College. The photographs folder contains images of people in costume from the 1909 and 1910 M.A.C. carnival, a group image of the M.A.C....

This collection consists of scrapbooks containing magazine articles about agriculture, many of which were authored by Vining. The articles in the scrapbooks date from May 1952 to September 1970. The collection also contains separate photographs of a dedication plaque and agricultural activities.

Scope and Contents The Maude Powell papers consist of correspondence, financial records, scrapbooks, publications, a journal, and legal documents. The bulk of the correspondence relates to life in China between 1917 and 1987, beginning with letters between Maude and Ralph in 1916 as they prepared to go to China.
