Scope and Contents The Frances Potter collection contains postcards, a brochure, and a photograph. The postcards include an image of the sunken garden in the Beal Botanical Garden at Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) with a note on the back about attending Farm Women's Week as a delegate from the Home Economics Club in July 1934. Henry T. Darlington papers

Scope and Contents

This collection contains twenty small notebooks that are filled with Darlington's handwritten notes. All of the notebooks relate back to Darlington's expeditions, interests, publication notes, Michigan history, and Botany 314 class. Included are notes related to Dr. Beal's seed viability experiment from 1930 and 1940.

One notebook is restricted until 2055, because it contains student grades.

Dorothy Doane and Mike Doyle from the student report forum "MSU Panorama" report from Beal-Garfield Botanical Garden on the campus of Michigan State University. A reporter from "Panorama" interviews students along the edge of the Red Cedar River, Doyle provides statistics on the usage of the MSU Libraries, and Doane interviews Jane Smith and student volunteer Mary Carr about the MSU Volunteer Bureau.
