Scope and Contents The collection consists of one CD-ROM with 25 images of campus during the February 2, 2011 snow day at Michigan State University. On this day classes were canceled and non-essential faculty and staff were told not to report to work due to a snow storm. The images taken by Chris Edwards include campus buildings including Beaumont Tower, Cowles House and dormitories, campus street scenes, students playing in the snow, and one image of a buried car. This collection contains photographs and negatives of buildings, some during construction, at Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) taken by Harold J. McGarvey. There are also photographs and negatives of what appears to be the East Lansing area.
