Chester Clark papers

Scope and Contents

The Chester Clark papers consist of htree of Clark's letters to Joseph Price. In the letters Clark describes his graduation from high school, the farm he lived on, his garden and fair prizes, and hist first week as a freshman at Michigan Agricultural College. Also included is a newspaper clipping from "The Boys World" advertising Clark's interest in a pen pal, and a photograph of Chester Clark taken May 1, 1936.

Manly Miles papers

Scope and Contents The four letters were written by Manly Miles to his brother, Isaac. Three dated 1848 were written while he was at Western Reserve College, and the fourth, dated 1850, while he attended Rush Medical College. Typewritten copies are included for each. Parmalee family collection

The collection consists of a ledger of farm records which contains a register of students from Michigan State University who visited the farm with their class in the years 1922-1928 and some memoirs which are not dated.
