Clarence C. Case papers

Scope and Content

The materials in these papers consist mainly of correspondence, manuscripts, notes, and statements concerning Case's military career, his efforts to re-establish the CCC, the establishment of Citizens for Conservation, Inc., the 1958 Senate race, the Michigan Department of Economic Development, and the Youth Conservation Corps. Also included are poetry written by Case and a number of booklets on a variety of subjects which he collected.

Scope and Content The collection consists of photographs from Thompson's years as a Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) student (1913-1916) and his career as a forester in the 1930s. The M.A.C. photographs include group shots of the Forestry Club, Thompson studying, Class Rush events, and Forestry Club Summer Camp. Scope and Contents

The Lee Roy Schoenmann papers include papers and speeches written by Schoenmann, as well as speeches given on radio broadcasts. The topics covered in the collection mostly cover problems of conservation, land use and soil conservation, particularly in Michigan. A few papers by other authors are also contained in the collection. Some of the papers in the collection have more than one copy. Usually, these are a first draft and a revision.
