The records of the Conservation Institute contain proceedings from the first Central Snow Conference, held at Michigan State College (now University)on December 11-12th, 1941. The conference included research from scientists and specialist in various fields on the problem and importance of snow. The conference publication originated from the sponsorship from Michigan State’s Office of Short Courses, Special Courses, and Conferences, the Conservation Institute, and Canada’s Department of Transport Air Services Branch Meteorological Division. Annual reports are also included in this collection.
