Footage of the October 1970 game against the No. 1-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. MSU Head Coach - Duffy Daugherty; Ohio State Head Coach - Woody Hayes. Spartans lost 0-29.
Images include the raising of the American flag, Duffy Daugherty coming onto the field with one of his assistant coaches, silent halftime footage of the Spartan Marching Band under the direction of MSU's new Director of Bands, Kenneth Bloomquist, and coaches Daugherty and Hayes shaking hands and walking off the field together.
