Scope and Contents
The records of the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities consist of the 1989 report, “MSU Transition Plan” detailing the removal of physical barriers to accessibility for MSU buildings. Also included are the “Personal Assistant Handbook”, and event flyer, and brochures about the Center’s services. The 1983 brochure includes an accessibility map for campus buildings. Also included are photographs, negatives and slides of events, award ceremonies, students and employees including Judy Taylor Gentile. The slides contain images of MSU buildings, entrances, interiors and other campus facilites most with the intent of showing their inaccessibility or improvements to make them accessible. There are also slides of YES Ability events and Michigan TRIO Day.
Electronic Resources include correspondence in the form of e-mail memos.
Serial #339 contains issues of “Harbinger”, the Center’s newsletter.
