The collection contains published (1916-38) and unpublished (1958-1972) annual reports for the Department of Anatomy. The annual reports of the department of Anatomy provide a general overview of the department's activities, along with specific data on enrollment, faculty activities, and services performed by the department.
There is also correspondence on Frank Chamberlain's "Atlas of Avian Anatomy" (1943).

Historical Note
The Department of Anatomy was established in 1915 within the Division of Veterinary Medicine under the leadership of F. W. Chamberlain.
The department later became shared between the Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Human Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine.
