Department of Anatomy records
The collection contains published (1916-38) and unpublished (1958-1972) annual reports for the Department of Anatomy. The annual reports of the department of Anatomy provide a general overview of the department's activities, along with specific data on enrollment, faculty activities, and services performed by the department.
There is also correspondence on Frank Chamberlain's "Atlas of Avian Anatomy" (1943).
George J. Wallace papers
The papers include some correspondence, course materials, bibliographies, honors and newspaper clippings on Wallace. The bulk of the materials are copies and reprints of articles that were written by Wallace. The materials deal primarily with the field of ornithology including a statement given to the House Subcommittee on Fisheries and Wildlife on the effects of DDT in 1960. Also included are issues of the Michigan Pesticide Council Newsletter.
LaMott Bates collection
This collection consists of sixteen reels of 16mm film taken of a voyage to Guatemala, circa 1936. Included is footage of the Galapagos Islands and of sea birds and animals.
