Biography

George Alfred Goodenough, of Flint, Michigan, earned his B.S. degree in engineering from Michigan Agricultural College in 1891, and his M.E. from the University of Illinois in 1900. He was later employed by M.A.C. (Instructor of Shops, 1891-1893), the International Correspondence School (instructor, (1893-1895), editor, (1897-1899)), and the University of Illinois Department of Mechanical Engineering (1895-1929). He also served on the Western Athletic Conference (1906-1929). He married Elizabeth C. Kitzmiller, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 1894. He died in 1929.
