Scope and Contents
This collection contains records from the University of the Air. There are course syllabi from an assortment of classes and reports which were required for the courses. Also included are handouts and programs that outline when certain programs were being aired as well as the general aims for the University of the Air.

Historical Note
University of the Air was created in 1964 in the Continuing Education Service office. Classes could be taken on a credit or noncredit basis. The program ended in 1981. Television classes through other departments have been offered as early as 1954.
