Scope and Contents

The collection consists of William H. Smith's Michigan State University Railroad Club and Project 1225 materials including newsletters, auction flyer, and membership list. Included is a Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company engineer list for the Grand Rapids district for 1956 and 1969. In addition, there is a Grand Rapids district seniority list for 1944 from the Pere Marquette Railroad Company. The seniority lists give members of the railroad and designates whether they were engineers or firemen.
