Scope and Contents
The collection consists a booklet titled "The Technique of Good Manners: a handbook for College Men" by Mary Perin Barker (1935), a June 1932 commencement program, a MSC Concert Course program featuring George Barrere, Lewis Richards and Michael Press (March 2, 1932), "Songs of Michigan State College" (1931), a Green Splash Women's Swimming Club program (April 27, 1932), and an oversize sheet of red tissue paper with Japanese characters.

Biographical / Historical
Catherine Hunt was born April 23, 1911 to Harry and Minnie (Burg) Hunt. She attended Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) from 1929 to 1933. While at MSC, she was a member of Omicron Nu, the Home Economics Club, and the YWCA. She graduated in 1933 with a degree in Home Economics. According to the 1940 U.S. Census, she was a teacher living in Trenton, Michigan. Catherine Hunt married William A. Wyman (1911-1969). She died March 24, 2006, and was interred at the Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Wayne County, Michigan next to her husband.
Russell J. Hunt was born February 12, 1913 in Cass City, Tuscola County, Michigan to Harry and Minnie (Burg) Hunt. He attended Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) in 1934-1935 as an engineering student. According to his obituary, he attended Michigan State Normal and Colorado University. He taught in New Baltimore, Michigan before enlisting in the Navy during World War II. After his service ended, he taught in Redford, Michigan. In 1943, Russell Hunt married Sibyl Emma Kern (January 25, 1920-May 24, 1981) in Chicago, Illinois. He later moved to Farmington Hills, Michigan. Hunt died at Botsford Hospital on December 23, 1996. He was survived by his wife, Alice.
