Scope and Contents

The collection consists of photocopies of papers relating to Rodenhouse's time as a Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Fellow-Engineering Aide in Hartford, Connecticut. Included in the papers are excerpt from newsletters relating to the Fellows from Michigan State University, photographs from newspapers, a diagram of an engine, a group photograph of unidentified people, two pages of chronological reminisces with a brief mention of the Hartford, Connecticut Circus Fire of 1944, program for the 20th anniversary of Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, and a page requesting reminisces for one of Rodenhouse's fellow Aides.

Biographical Note

Phyllis Glidden Rodenhouse graduated from Michigan State University in 1943 with a degree in Liberal Arts. Rodenhouse’s grandfather, Asa C. Glidden, was a member of the State Board of Agriculture from 1889-1895.
