Scope and Contents

The collection consists of an Michigan Agricultural College War Records information sheet produced by the M.A.C Association (currently called the Alumni Association) and circulated in the October 19, 1917 edition of the "M.A.C. Record." The sheet has spaces in which Kellogg filled in biographical information, parents' names, branch of service, date of enlistment, and promotions.

Biographical Note

Robert B. Kellogg Jr. was born in Lansing, Michigan on November 12, 1891 to Robert Bardull Kellogg Sr. and Rose B. Kellogg. He graduated from Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) in 1914. He served in the U.S. Navy as seaman and was promoted to Machinist Mate 2nd Class, Gunners Mate 2nd Class, and then to Ensign.
