Barbara Dahlem papers
Scope and Contents
The Barbara Dahlem papers consist of a scrapbook that contains newspaper clippings, sporting event tickets, and other items which document Dahlem's time at MSU. The materials encompass the time when the Union was used as a women's dormitory because of overcrowding in the women's dorm. The remainder of the scrapbook features party invitations, get-well cards, her friend's wedding announcements, and other notes of friendship. There are also a few clippings about her husband.

Biography
Barbara Dahlem was born on September 8, 1915 and attended Michigan State College from 1936-1940. She married MSC alumnus Lt. Nicholas Novosel (class of 1940) in December 1940. Before marriage, she was employed by Consumers Power Company. She resided in Jackson, Michigan until her death in 2002.
