Scope and Contents
Collection consists of memorabilia from Lowe's years at Michigan State College (1935 - 1939). This includes photographs of graduation and campus buildings; report cards; graduation announcements and programs; Sigma Kappa Sorority materials; a Mary Mayo Dormitory brochure; and birth and death certificates.

Biographical Note
Jean Abbey Lowe was born April 18, 1918 to Harry and Elnora Lowe in Birmingham, Michigan. She attended Michigan State College 1935 - 1939 and completed her B.A. in Liberal Arts. While attending, she was a member of the Alpha Tau chapter of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. She obtained her Michigan Teaching License in 1939 and taught at Fenton High School. She married Sherman Condin in July 1946. She died May 14, 2005.
