Charles R. Johnson papers
Scope and Contents
The Charles Johnson collection consists of a class materials including syllabi, notes and handouts for LA 256, LA 254, Weaving 813c,and EGR 365. The material for each class is incomplete. Also included is Songs of Theta Chi which was produced by the national organization. Also included is an oversize drawing of a living room furnture layout for the MSU Theta Chi fraternity drawn by Johnson Brothers Furniture Company in 1987. It is unknown if this layout was used by the fraternity.

Biographical Note
Charles Rowland Johnson was born on March 22, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio. He attended MSU from 1958 to 1962 graduating with a degree BS degree in Retail Adminstration from the College of Business and Public Serivce.from graduating in . He worked for the family furntiure business Johnson Fine Furniture of Toledo, Ohio. Charles Johnson passed away on December 5, 2020.
