Biographical Note
Phil Frank (1943-2007) was born in Pittsburgh, Pensylvania and graduated from MSU with a degree in art in 1965. During his time as student Frank created cartoons for the Michigan State News. Frank moved to California in 1973. He created the comic strip Travels with Farley in 1975 for the San Francisco Chronicle as well as the comic strip Miles to Go, and collaborated on the strip The Elderberries with Joe Troise.
