Content Description

The Mildred L. Cash collection contains a scrapbook from her time at MSU and Alma College. The MSU materials include photographs of buildings, activities, student military activies, MAC Service Flag, 1918; a classh rivalry / class rush event, 1917; and people including football players. Also included are dance cards, materials related to events, photo postcards of class rivalry posters, a small amount of correspondence, YMCA student handbooks, quarantine pass, newpaper articles, a list of parties during a term; cap night tag and sparkler, MAC Union Family Picnic program, boarding and tuition receipts. There is also a small abount of materials related to Alma College in the scrapbook include board receipts and newspaper articles. Other photos include military members marching in a parade, and photographs of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Biographical / Historical

Mildred Cash attended MAC in the 1917-1918 and 1918-1919 school years and studied home economics. She later transferred to Alma College.
