The Bay Port Fish Company apparently established the Ballard Fish Company in 1898. The records of the former were kept jointly with those of the Saginaw Bay Fish Company, and deliveries for both were made to the Saginaw Bay Fish Company. Billing records, however, were made separately for each company. Payments were made from the same account.
