Adrian Friends of the Farm Workers, 1975 - 1982
Scope and Contents
The collection is comprised of three Series. Series I includes files from the Lansing Cristo Rey Community Center that were recovered by T. Mireles; Series II. includes some of the files of the Xicano Development Center, Lansing and Detroit offices; and Series III. Select files from the MEChA/MEXA files previously sited at the MSU Libraries. The originals were deaccessioned and returned to a MEChA officer. All series contains meeting agendas and minutes, budgets, correspondence, and printed materials regarding the activities of the organizations. The Michigan State University student chapter of Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (MEChA) series also includes their constitution, membership information, newspaper articles and action files. Significant in this series is information on the student led MSU grape boycott, Book Check Out, Affirmative Action issues, Chicano Latino Studies correspondence and planning notes as well as the agreements between the MSU administration and MEChA on negotiated points.

Abstract
This folder contains 6 sheets of text and photography of the Adrian Friends of the Farm Workers which was formed at the Community Action Center in Adrian Michigan in 1968. Page [2] gives a brief history of the group, the names and dates of Chairpersons serving and purpose. Black and white reproduction of 23 photos with an index. Photos depict a 1998 reunion for the participants of the 1975 Adrian to Detroit Marchas well as some other 1975 march photos.
