The materials were collected as part of the activist work Dr. Marinez did with Mujeres Unidas de Michigan organization. It includes correspondence and information gathered for interests in daycare services for Latino children, the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame program at which one of the first Latinas was inducted and a folder of juvenile book titles.

Abstract

This folder includes correspondence from Marinez to Office of the Governor nominating four people, three which were women to be nominated to the Commission on Spanish Speaking Affairs; from David Pizaña from El Comite Patriotico de Lansing endorsement for the Commission and letter to MEA to fill a Consultant to Minority Affairs Division.
