National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP) Beltsville collection contains publications, manuscripts, correspondence, brochures, photographs, photographic negatives, and other material relating to turfgrass. Predominant within the collection are records by J. Jack Murray, of the Field Crops Laboratory with the U. S. Department of Agriculture in Beltsville, Maryland often pertaining to the development and release of the Zoysia Japonica Meyer or Beltsville-16-1 variety of grass.
