Mythopoetic Perspectives of Men’s Healing Work:… John Lee also describes part of this w/e in At My Father’s Wedding. Ed Barton, Bill Courter, and Steve Hughes from the West Michigan Center visited John Lee at the Austin Men’s Center and attended the John Lee & Marvin Allen w/e the last weekend in April, 1990, that Gabriel writes about and they came back to Kalamazoo and started doing weekends for men in Kalamazoo.
