Abstract: This research examines the ManKind Project (MKP), a large community-based organization that offers peer-group support for changing traditional forms of masculinity and fostering personal development and healing. Analysis focused on reasons why men participated, their evaluation of their experiences in the organization, and the impact of participation on their relationships, emotions, self-development, identity, employment, and other aspects of their lives.
