Biographical / Historical

As Bill was looking into fraternal organizations he came across Iron John in the Gilded Age by Mark Carnes, Chair of the History Dept., Bernard College, pub in American Heritage, Sept. 1993, pp. 37 – 45, outlining the long history of fraternal organizations in the US and bring it forward with reference to Robert Bly’s Iron John along with some comments by Bill which he shared with others in the NWN
