Scope and Contents
The Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center Visiting Chefs Series collection consists of two ceramic plates commemorating the 25th and 75th anniversaries of the event as well as menus, event programs, flyers, posters, news clippings, and signed memorabilia. Some of the documents are signed by the Chefs who visited for the event.

Biographical / Historical
The Visiting Chefs Series is an ongoing annual event held at the Kellogg Hotel and Event Center on the campus of Michigan State University. It was founded approximately in 1998 as The American Chef’s Symposium and changed titles throughout its tenure. The series features various visiting chefs who host cooking classes and other events for customers and guests of the Hotel.
