Alton Wheaton papers
The Alton Wheaton papers contain primarily financial records and other forms of inventory that Wheaton took while working on his farm. There is also a small section on some of Wheaton’s community activities, some photographs of said activities, and two books on the Wheaton family genealogy. There are also a number of folders containing deeds and titles to various pieces of land Wheaton owned. There are also catalogs, plans, newsletters and brochures on farm topics.
Avery family papers
This collection contains family correspondence between members of the Avery family, including C. S. and Ellen Avery of Bucks Flat, California, and Edward Avery of Fort Junction, Iowa. The letters are primarily concerned with family matters, though C. S. Avery's letters also discuss agriculture in California. The collection also contains receipts and a deed for Sarah Avery of Three Oaks, Michigan.
Hooper family papers
The Hooper family papers consist primarily of correspondence between members of the Hooper and Goodwin families living in Oakland and Lapeer Counties, Michigan. The letters discuss family news, agriculture, and the activities of various family members. The collection also includes poetry, recipes, tax receipts, a deed, expense accounts, and an agricultural diary.
