Anonymous diary
Anonymous diary written in France right after Armistice ending WWI was signed. The author, a soldier, mentions places he visited in France, shows and other entertainment and how much he spent on them, souvenirs he purchased, and other daily activities. He mentions seeing the President of France, King George of England, the King of Italy, and Woodrow Wilson. The first part of the diary is used as an address book.

The Colonel I. Palle papers consist of material generated during the course of the 1895 war in Madagascar. Material includes the field notes of Colonel I. Palle, maps, and correspondence. Subjects and persons mentioned in the documents include General Jacques Charles Rene Achille Duchesne, military field operations, material and food supply for the troops, and the military drive and advance to occupy Tananarive.
Dora Von Walthausen diary
This collection consists of a photocopy of a daybook kept by Dora Von Walthausen of Bay City, Michigan during a trip to Germany and France with her parents in 1904-1905. The diary describes the typical experience of a traveler on a European tour at the turn of the century, particularly regarding the rigors of ocean travel.
Ellen Mathews collection
This collection consists of one handwritten notary register (1579-1582) and two letters (1848) from notaries. The specific contents of the register are unknown because of the difficulty in translating its classical French style. Two faculty members who have dealt with such writings have been consulted, but neither could translate the document.

The collection consists of 152 postcards and one black and white photograph of a church. The subjects include an image of World War I British troop trenches at Zillebeke, Belgium and scenes from China, England, Switzerland, France, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Israel.
